Findings
The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure the Alleged Victim's (AV) medication was available to administer twice daily. He/she went without blood thinner medication the morning of January 25, 2020, even though the facility received the medication by 7 pm on January 24, 2020, which placed AV at a risk for harm. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
