Findings
Between February 18, 2020 and February 20, 2020, Alleged Victim's (AV) wall thermostat knob was not working properly which caused continual heat to emit into AV's room. The facility failed to fix AV's wall thermostat in a timely manner which caused AV to become agitated due to the warm temperature of his/her room and AV was described by facility staff as being disoriented, nauseated, and sweaty, with a nose bleed. The facility's failure to provide a safe environment is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
