Findings
On or about January 2, 2020, Alleged Victim (AV) wrote Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) a check for $5000.00, that was supposedly for AV to move to a different facility. On or about February 2, 2020, Witness 2 (W2) wrote a check from AV's account for $4250.00. W2 put a stop payment on the check. On or about September 6, 2019, W2 gave AP2 $2000.00 in cash to reimburse AP2. AP2 had advised the he/she undercharged and AP2 use his/her own credit card to cover the charges. On or about December 21, 2019, AP2 drove W2 to the bank. W2 withdrew and gave AP2 $5000.00 for unpaid rent. AP2's actions are considered financial exploitation and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect AV from financial exploitation, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
