Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. Between December 30, 2019 and January 24, 2020, AV did not receive his/her narcotic pain medication as prescribed on nine occasions. Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) documented six occasions of medication administration that were over administration of medication. On or about January 24, 2020, AV ran out of his/her medication which caused AV to experience withdrawal symptoms. AP2 and the facility failed to have a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
