Findings
On or about June 24, 2019, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) had Witness 2 (W2) write a check to AP2 for AV's care. The amount of the check was $2328. The money was not used for AV's care. AP2 had demonstrated a pattern of borrowing money from staff, and not giving employee their Christmas Bonuses. AP2's actions are considered financial exploitation and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect AV from financial exploitation which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
