Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) requires facility assistance with medication administration. AV is prescribed a medication to treat difficulty with movement to be administered at 5:30pm and 9:30 pm. On or about April 2, 2020, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) administered AV's medication to treat difficulty with movement at 8:06pm and 8:21pm causing AV to feel numbness, dizziness and an inability to stay awake. AV was transported to the hospital for treatment. AP2's actions are considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility had two staff working instead of three as posted at the facility. The facility failed to provide staffing to meet the scheduled and unscheduled needs of AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
