Findings
The facility failed to follow the Alleged Victim's (AV) care plan related to transfers and appropriately provide care after AV experienced a fall. The failure resulted in AV experiencing a delay in medical treatment and after several hours, was transferred to the hospital for surgical interventions for his/her post fall injury, which is a violation of resident rights is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
