Findings
The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure the Alleged Victim's (AV) physician orders were followed for prescribed medication for blood thinner. AV missed his/her medication for 3 days, which placed AV at a risk for serious harm. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
