Findings
The facility failed to appropriately care plan for the Alleged Victim (AV) regarding his/her needs to have TED hose placed on and removed. It was only mentioned on the MAR and not in AV's care plan regarding how to care for AV and his/her TED hose application and removal or how to work with AV when he/she refuses application or removal of the TED hose. On or about August 22, 2020, AV was found with his/her TED hose not removed at midnight, as stated in the MAR, causing AV bruising and indention's in his/her skin from the hose. The facility failed to provide services to AV to remove his/her TED hose at midnight, causing pain and suffering and placed AV at risk for serious harm. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
