Findings
On or about mid August 2020, the Alleged Victim (AV) went without his/her insulin over the weekend. AV's medication had not been delegated to staff by the facility RN in order to give the medication. This action placed AV at risk for serious harm. Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2) did not work in the facility as a medication technician during the time of this incident, therefore was found not substantiated in this case. The facility's failure to provide a safe medication administration system is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
