Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. After a fill of 120 tabs of Hydrocodone on or about November 12, 2020, with four (4) administered daily, there should have been between 112 and 108 tabs remaining at the end of November 14, 2020. AV was prescribed Morphine for pain, twice daily, but AV was no given Morphine doses on October 6th, and 7th, 2020. On November 14, 2020, the facility reported 84 of AV’s Hydrocodone and 29 of AV’s Morphine tabs were unaccounted for. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
