Findings
On or about December 26, 2020, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) failed to follow Alleged Victim's (AV) care plan when AP2 placed a cup of noodles on AV's bed stand next to AV, failing to check the temperature of the cup of noodles, and when AP2 turned away, AV reached for the noodles, spilling hot liquid on his/her chest. AP2's action is considered neglect of care which constitutes abuse. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV due to the facility lacking appropriate first aid supplies for AV's burns. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
