Findings
The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for Alleged Victim (AV). On or about December 28, 2020, AV was sent to the hospital for treatment for pain control. An investigation determined the facility failed to follow-up on AV's pain medication refill which resulted in AV not receiving his/her pain medication as ordered from December 24, 2020 through December 28, 2020. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
