Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for all his care needs. on or about June 4, 2021, AV reported to facility staff that he/she was missing approximately $150.00 cash. The facility staff found AV’s locked cabinet appeared broken and determined it appeared to have been pried or forced open. Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) was the only staff member in the building that was working the night of June 3, 2021. AV reported hearing popping or cracking sounds in his/her room the night of June 3, 2021. AP2’s actions are considered financial exploitation. The facility failed to assure the AV was protected from financial exploitation, which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
