Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) Relies on the facility for his/her care. AV has a Foley catheter and requires catheter maintenance. AV was diagnosed with two (2) Urinary Tract Infections within one (1) month. It was noted on exam AV’s Foley catheter was not maintained properly. MAR/Care plan does not indicate frequency, cleaning, or maintenance of AV’s catheter. The facility failed to appropriately care plan, which is violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
