Findings
On or about August 23, 2021, the Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2) gave medication to the Alleged Victim (AV) that did not belong to him/her. AV had side effects from the medication that made him/her lethargic. AV was taken to the hospital where he/she was diagnosed with pneumonia and and urinary tract infection. AP2's actions are a violation of resident rights, are considered neglect of care and constitute abuse. The facility's failure to provide a safe medication administration system are a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
