Findings
The Alleged Victim (AV) has sores on his/her legs. AV will remove dressings and scratch his/her legs, causing the sores to worsen. The facility failed to follow the care plan and institute interventions to ensure that AV's leg wounds were covered and his/her wounds were attended to, placing AV at risk for serious harm. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
