Findings
The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure Alleged Victim’s (AV) pain medication was given as ordered and as needed. The AV missed multiple doses of pain medication between approximately February 14, 2022, and February 21, 2021, which caused AV repeated unnecessary discomfort. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
