Findings
The facility failed to properly care plan for the Alleged Victim’s (AV) respiratory and pulmonary needs, and to properly assess AV for the ability to self-administer oxygen. The failure resulted in AV ultimately having a significant medical event that required AV to be seen and treated in the emergency room, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
