Findings
The facility failed to provide appropriate services according to the Alleged Victim’s (AV) needs and physician orders. On or about April 16, 2022, the facility obtained an order for the AV for bowel tracking and for an as needed medication to be given if AV was constipated for over three days. The facility never fully implemented the order and AV was constipated from April 15, 2022, to April 20, 2022, and again from April 25, 2022, to April 29, 2022, and medications for constipation were not given, per physician order. The facility failure to provide appropriate services caused repeated unreasonable discomfort, is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
