Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to re-order and administer his/her medications. AV missed one dose of metoprolol 25 mg on January 13, 2022. AV missed one dose of methimazole 5 mg on June 30, 2022. AV missed two doses of diazepam 5 mg on July 7, 2022. AV had missed doses due to the facility not having medication available, and on some occasions the facility did not provide an explanation as to why AV had missed medications. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
