Findings
The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure the AV’s medication orders were administered as ordered. It was discovered that AV had not received his/her medication for approximately seven (7) doses. The facility’s failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction
ALFCP22-01045 $500.00 fine assessed
