Findings
The Alleged Victim (AV) is prescribed topical medication to control rash and itching, to be applied twice per day at 10:00 am and 9:00 pm. During the month of October 2022, AV's medication was not applied 16 times in the morning and in November 2022, the medication was not applied 18 times in the morning and 7 times in the evening. At least 6 occasions, the facility did not have the medication on hand. AV had unreasonable discomfort due to not having this medication. The facility failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
