Findings
On or about November 7, 2022, Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2) accepted $300.00 from the Alleged Victim (AV) via an inter-bank transfer. AP2 removed the money from his/her account via automated teller machine. AP2 may have given the money back to AV, however, taking money from residents for any reason, in any form is not allowed, and considered financial abuse. AP2's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes financial abuse. The facility's failure to protect AV from financial abuse is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
