Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medication. On or about November 13, 2022, at around 6:00 pm, AV returned to the facility from the hospital and had two new pain relievers for his/her leg. On or about November 14, 2022, at around 9:46 pm, AV returned to the ER with significant bilateral leg pain. The facility had stated they could not administer AV’s pain medication due to them not having an order for the prescription on November 14, 2022, however, the facility had received the medication early afternoon. The facility failed to ensure AV’s medications were given to him/her resulting in significant pain to AV. The facility failed to administer ordered medication, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
