Findings
The facility failed to provide appropriate services according to the Alleged Victim’s (AV) peri-care needs. According to facility documentation and interviews, AV was left in soiled briefs for long periods of time causing a rash on his/her groin area due to being wet. The facility's failure resulted in AV’s condition worsening causing unreasonable discomfort, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
