Findings
On or about December 20, 2022, the Alleged Victim (AV) failed to receive his/her medication. Facility staff thought that AV was out of his/her medication. Staff called the pharmacy and was advised AV's medication could not be filled until January. On or about December 28, 2022, staff inventoried the med cart and found AV's medication mis-filed with another residents medication. AV went without his/her medication for 8 days, leaving AV at risk for serious harm,. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
