Findings
The facility failed to properly care plan for the Alleged Victim’s pressure wounds preventing the wounds from healing. The failure resulted in staff placing multiple incontinence products on the AV and their bed preventing the wound from healing and causing prolonged unreasonable discomfort, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
