Findings
The Alleged Victim (AV) was prescribed 1-10 mg pain medication. AV was given 1 1/2 tablets of 10 mg pain medication, which led to AV running out of his/her pain medication. AV reported going through withdrawals due to running out of medication early, causing unreasonable discomfort. The facility's failure to provide a safe medication administration system is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
