Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for h/h care. On or about February 27, 2023, AV’s blood pressure medication dose was decreased, and AV’s as needed pain medication dose was increased. The facility did not make the changes and gave AV the wrong medication dosage for approximately 2 weeks. AV suffered increased weakness, resulting in multiple falls and increased pain. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system and ensure medications were given per physician orders, which is violation of resident’s rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
