- The Alleged victim relies on the facility for his/her care. On or about March 12, 2023, AV was involved in a resident-to-resident incident, where AV was hit repeatedly in the head and stomach. AV was observed to be wincing in pain and crying and had scratches on his/her head and back. AV continued to experience pain and was leaning to one side the next day. The facility did not contact AV’s physician or seek medical treatment for approximately two days after the incident, when AV started vomiting. AV was sent to the hospital and was diagnosed with multiple broken ribs. The facility failed to see timely medical treatment, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
