Findings
The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. On or about April 7, 2023, AV went to the hospital, was prescribed medication, and was sent back to the facility. The new medication was not administered for approximately 10 days causing AV repeated unreasonable discomfort and resulted in AV being transported back to the hospital for additional treatment. The facility failed to administer ordered medication and/or provide a safe medication system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
