Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. AV is documented to not have been administered 28 doses of his/her metabolic medication between March 26th through April 3, 2023. AV is documented to not have been administered two (2) doses of his/her metabolic medication on or about March 31st and April 2nd, 2023. As a result, AV’s metabolic marker reached levels at or above 400 a total of nine times while AV was without his/her metabolic mediation when an average range is between 200 and the mid-range is in the 300’s, putting AV in risk of harm. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
