Findings
Alleged Victim’s (AV’s) care plan states AV is to have Tubigrips on his/her calves to protect them from skin tears. On or about May 29, 2023, AV did not have his/her protective covering on his/her calves and as a result, AV sustained a skin tear on his/her lower legs. The facility failed to follow AV’s care plan putting AV is risk of harm, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
