Findings
On or about January 25, 2024, the Alleged Victim (AV) notified staff that he/she had approximately $120.00, and a gold ring go missing from his/her room. There had been several reported thefts at the facility, however, the facility did not inform residents or law enforcement of any thefts happening. An unknown Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2) took AV's property, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes financial abuse. The facility failed to provide a safe environment and protect residents from financial abuse, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
