Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. On or about February 5, 2024, AV’s family said that AV was missing two (2) wedding rings. AV usually keeps the rights in his/her locking drawer. AV had been seen wearing the rings but has not left the facility recently. There have been several reported thefts by other residents of the facility. It is believed and unknown Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) is suspected of being associated with thefts from AV. AP2 failed to protect AV from financial exploitation, which neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect AV from financial exploitation, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
