Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. AV’s family member visited on or about January 24, 2024, and found AV’s bag and wallet out in the open in AV’s room and said that $20.00 was missing from AV’s wallet. It is unknown when AV’s money went missing, but it is believed an unknown Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) took AV’s money. AP2 failed to protect AV from financial exploitation, which is neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect AV from financial exploitation, which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
