Findings
Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to order, store, and administer AV’s medications. Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) did not administer AV’s (prophylactic antibiotic medication) on May 4, 2024. Alleged Perpetrator 3 (AP3) did not administer AV’s (prophylactic antibiotic medication) on or about April 2, 2024. As a result of the missed medication, AV developed (urinary tract infection). AP2 and AP3 failed to provide a safe medication administration system for AV, which is neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
