Findings
The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. According to an investigation, on or about May 27, 2024, AV did not receive antipsychotic medication as ordered to treat anxiety disorder. AV requested but did not receive the antipsychotic medication on 5/27/2024 as it was not available, resulting in AV self-administering an unprescribed amount of over-the-counter medication and being transported to the hospital. The facility failed to provide a safe medication system, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The allegation that the Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) verbally abused the Alleged Victim (AV) was investigated and determined to be inconclusive.
