Findings
On or about August 1, 2024, at approximately 7:15pm, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) administered another resident's medication to Alleged Victim (AV). AP2 noticed immediately and called facility's leadership and on-call medical doctor as a result of the error. AV was sent out for the monitoring at the hospital and experienced no adverse effects. Although AV did not experience adverse effects as a result of AP2's error, the facility failed to give a resident the correct medication. The facility's failure to provide a safe medication administration is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules. AP2 allegedly neglected AV. An investigation determined no abuse occurred by AP2.
