Findings
The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to protect them from financial abuse. The Alleged Victim (AV) had money go missing from his/her room. The money was taken by an unknown individual, and this person is responsible for theft of property, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes financial abuse. The facility failed to protect AV’s property from theft which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
