Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) had a history of wandering into other resident's rooms and stops signs were to be placed on resident doors to deter AV from entering. On or about January 28, 2019, AV wandered into Witness 1's (W1's) room and sat on the bed. W1 lifted his/her feet causing AV to fall off the bed and fractured his/her pelvis. W1's door did not have a stop sign placed on it to deter AV from entering. The facility failed to follow AV's care plan, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-00138 $1500.00 fine assessed
