Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned to have on non-skid socks on prior to going to bed. On or about August 9, 2019, AV attempted to get out of bed to use the restroom and fell resulting in a skin tear. AV had on regular socks at the time of the incident and was care planned for assistance with toileting. The facility failed to follow the care plan which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-00308 $375.00 fine assessed
