Findings: The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for Alleged Victim (AV) by not ensuring his/her medication was available to administer as ordered. On or about August 24, 2019, AV was administered a lower dose of a scheduled morning medication due to running out and was administered his/her evening medication later than scheduled due to the facility receiving the medication later in the day. The facility submitted a refill request on August 18, 2019 but there is not sufficient documentation that this was followed up on until the morning that the medication ran out. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
