Findings: The facility failed to follow the Alleged Victim's (AV) care plan to provide assistance with bathing as needed an according to the care plan. In early November 2019, there was no documentation showing that AV was assisted with bathing or a refusal of bathing, even though it was known s/he had been dealing with skin breakdown and needed medication applied during bathing. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP20-00564 $500.00 fine assessed
