Findings: On or about November 10, 2019, the Alleged Victim (AV) was found to have bruising on his/her right hand. It had been noticed by other staff that one staff member had been using improper transfer techniques, due to not being properly trained to do so, which could have caused the bruising to AV. The facility failed to provide a safe environment by not properly training all employees. The facility’s failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-00339 $169.00 fine assessed
