- Findings
- Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2) administered medication to calm the Alleged Victim prior to using less restrictive interventions as outlined in his/her care plan. AP2's action is considered chemical restraint, which is a violation of residents rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect the Alleged Victim from misuse of medication. This failure is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
