Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) has a known history of unsafe food storage. On or about December 30, 2019, AV purchased a large amount of Chinese food. The Chinese food that AV had in his/her apartment was unable to be stored in a safe manner. Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) admitted to disposing of some of the Chinese food causing AV emotional distress. The facility failed to care plan appropriately around AV's history of unsafe food storage, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The allegation that AP2 financially exploited AV by disposing of AV's property without AV's permission was investigated and wrongdoing was unable to be determined.
