Findings: Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) completed required training to administer medication and his/her job duty was to administer Alleged Victim’s (AV) pain medication as ordered. On or about December 31, 2019 and January 1, 2020, AP2 failed to administer AV’s ordered dosage of pain medication resulting in AV experiencing significant pain. AP2’s action is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to ensure AV received his/her medication as ordered, which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
