Findings: On or about January 7, 2020, Alleged Victim (AV) was found covered in his/her own feces. AV had a known lack of awareness regarding his/her bowel movements and his/her care plan did not address this or provide interventions. The facility failed to implement appropriate interventions and appropriately care plan related to AV’s incontinence care needs, resulting in a loss personal dignity. The facility’s failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP20-00319 $500.00 fine assessed
